Pressure-reducing foam mattress of high quality

Bari is a pressure-reducing foam product that meets the highest demands for quality, durability, and pressure-reducing properties. Bari is primarily recommended for pressure sore prevention up to high risk or sore grade 2, with a maximum user weight of 220 kg. Unfortunately, this item cannot be ordered via the webshop. Material and construction

Bari is made of high-resilience cold foam and features an incontinence cover. One side of the foam features precision cuts of varying depths. The mattress is divided into five zones to align with the body’s pressure points. It also features a wide foam border to ensure greater stability when the user is getting in or out of bed. Bari supports a maximum user weight of up to 220 kg.

Easy handling

The mattress is easy to handle, as it is equipped with four handles—two on each side—allowing it to be lifted out of the bed regardless of which side the caregiver is standing on. Additionally, the handles are reinforced on the inside of the cover to ensure the cover has an extended service life.

High-quality cover

The mattress comes with a waterproof yet breathable incontinence cover. The cover features a three-sided zipper, making it easy to remove and wash. The zipper is protected by a large overlap that prevents liquid from seeping through to the foam core. The mattress core is encased in a fabric sleeve (tricot), which makes it easy to insert and remove the mattress from the cover for washing. The tricot also ensures that the foam core and cover glide smoothly against each other without resistance, preventing friction and shear forces from being transferred to the user.

Shear-reducing cover

The Bari mattress features three shear-reducing zones (heel, sacrum, and shoulder) that protect against injuries caused by sliding, rotation, or repositioning.
